We are currently seeking speakers for our 71st Annual Conference, taking place April 9-11, 2016 in Nashua, NH

We welcome proposals for any topic related to animal welfare and nonprofit business, however, there are specific topics identified as desirable by our attendees. These topics include:

Direct Animal Care
Veterinary Medicine
Animal Transports: Dogs, cats and small animals
Disease management and transmission, best practices
Promoting & Adopting Shelter Animals
Serving low-income communities
Public Relations
Staff and Volunteers
Legislative Process and Animal Welfare
Shelter Operations
Senior Animals

To be considered as a speaker, your program must be educational in nature, sales presentations will not be accepted. Your material should be current and original. Programs should last 90 minutes, including an opportunity for questions and answers and may include consecutive related sessions. Programs consisting of more than two speakers will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The NEFED Annual Conference regularly draws an average of 250 to 300 animal welfare professionals and volunteers from all six New England States as well as around the U.S. and Canada.

In order to encourage and support conference participation, we are committed to maintaining the lowest registration fee possible. Conference admission on the day you are speaking and conference meals are complimentary for invited speakers. This offer specifically excludes stand-alone programming and events.
