New England Federation of Humane Societies Annual Training Conference 2023
The New England Federation of Humane Societies (NEFHS) will be holding our Annual Conference from April 15th-17th at the Hartford Marriott Downtown in Hartford, Connecticut.
Our conference includes basic knowledge for those just starting out, advanced knowledge for those who have specialized in an area, and progressive discussions to lead us into the future as our field changes. The NEFHS connects animal welfare professionals so that they can learn from each other and collaborate.
This year’s scholarship funding is provided by the John T. and Jane A. Wiederhold Foundation.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. Reservations must be made by March 29, 2023 to receive the NEFHS discounted rate. The room rate is $125 per night plus 15% tax.

PARKING
Parking for overnight guests is $19/day. Bring your parking ticket to the hotel valet desk where they will convert it to a pass with in/out privileges for the length of your stay.
Parking for those just attending the conference for the day (not staying overnight at the hotel) is $11 for the day. When checking in for the conference, please ask for a parking sticker. Place the sticker in the middle of your parking ticket and when you leave at the end of the day scan the top bar code and then the middle bar code at the exit. This validated parking does not allow for in/out privileges during the day.
